Stromvoe is a blog based in Dundee, Scotland. Covering beauty, fashion and life related matters, I like to think of it as a pretty dynamic place. As passionate and focused as I may be, I never say no to a spontaneous entry.

It's not a secret skin care is a vital, if not the most important, part of my beauty rituals. While I don't avoid any steps in my daily routines, I'm getting a bit worried about my approach to body care as a whole. I'm one of those people finding body moisturizing a real chore. I either end up forgetting or just cannot seem to be bothered.
I ran out of my current favourite foundation many months ago (Givenchy Teint Couture Balm fyi). The only reason I haven't repurchased yet is because the shade range is lacking a bit. The lightest colour isn't light enough for my skin, hence I thought I might as well try something new instead.
September has always been a month to start anew for me. That applies both to when I was a student and now as I work in a similar environment.
It is also a transitional period; it's not quite Autumn yet however summer wear is not something you would want to stick to every day anymore.
It's Friday. This weekend I'm intending to rethink my blogging intentions yet again. My main worry is the lack of time and when there is time, I chose to chill instead. Everyone's being productive, everyone's scheduling. And then there's me, struggling to tick off a single task of my list. I honestly don't know how you're all coping.
The day the new Clinique Pop Matte Lip were introduced I knew it would be an instant buy. The original formula still remains one of my favourites due to the great selection of colours, smooth application, top quality wear and longevity. You really couldn't ask for more in a lipstick.
Originally I was planning on writing a general guide to NYX cosmetics, but I haven't tried out that many products so that would be a bit unfair.
However, I did visit the counter again and picked up a few new bits. I think I'm starting to be getting a general idea of what I like, what I dislike and what I will definitely be repurchasing.
While everyone else is celebrating the weekend I am mourning my summer break coming to an end. It's that time of the year when I dig out my planner and iron some clothing.
None of my co-workers are talking about the fact that we're all back in work on a Monday though which makes me wonder 1) Do they realise? 2) Do they not want to hear it?
Most importantly, how do you tackle the post-holiday back to work small talk? I'd rather pretend we never left to be honest.
Last week I had a pleasure to take part in a Twitter chat with The Body Shop managed by Thirty Plus. It inspired me to check out the brand once again since I have forgotten about it a wee bit. I didn't lie when I said my to-buy list was full. I popped in the store the following day and took my time testing both the newest ranges and cult classics.
If you're anything like me - you love to blog but more than often struggle with finding the right amount of motivation and end up mooching around your flat finding excuses not to write, you must know how frustrating it can be. It only gets worse when you put a lot of pressure on yourself. Obviously.
