Givenchy Teint Couture Balm #holygrail

It feels like I'm always on a hunt for the perfect foundation. I like my base products the most and having the perfect looking skin always makes me feel good about myself more than a red lip has ever did. Getting the base right can be tricky though. For me it's due to my fussy skin and the fact that I'm getting old. Every single product I tried recently has only accentuated that fact resulting in my face looking dry and patchy and me frantically mixing every product with a highlighter...

A month ago I was browsing all the foundations I could possibly love when I found Sali Hughes' review on the Givenchy Teint Couture Balm. Everything about it seemed to be too good to be true, nevertheless, I excitedly requested it for Christmas. Now, I've been wearing it for a few days. *drumroll* It is as good as they say. What I like about it the most is the soft dewy glow it offers and enough amount of coverage for an even finish. It looks ideal upon applying and seriously even better long after it sets. One thing though, I got it in N3 Nude Sand which is the lightest shade and it's just right for my skin tone, however, I always get my foundations a shade lighter than my skin tone so I wouldn't mind a lighter option. That aside, I couldn't have asked for more. It's a keeper.
