Cleansing is a crucial step in my routines. Even though I remain faithful to the likes of Una Brennan, The Body Shop and Weleda, I'm not indifferent to the new releases.
So when I saw Burt's Bees expanded their skincare range in my local Boots, I knew I had to pick up a few bits to try. Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream was one them.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT
It cleanses thoroughly while leaving your skin smooth and soft. It contains a pretty impressive amount of natural ingredients, including aloe, chamomile, jasmine and coconut oil. The texture is creamy and it works really well with a hot cloth. Plus, a 170g tube offers a generous amount of product.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT
For some unknown reason it's infused with menthol. According to the description, it's for the cooling properties, which is something I don't personally find necessary in a cleanser. It's also suggested not to be used in the eye area which is another let down.
WILL I BE REPURCHASING?
I would if it wasn't for the heavy herbal fragrance. I do like it but I think I might get on better with Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser.
Have you tried it?
