Reds for Spring?
Before I go on about my recent favourite lip find let me tell you about other pretty picks. I am saving the best for last indeed.
I find this Nyx Micro Brow Pencil one of the best dupes for the iconic Brow Wiz. It's very precise and the texture is quite nice and not too soft which you may know I'm very wary of. I got it in the shade Ash Brown, sadly it's a wee bit too warm for my liking despite what the name suggests. Overall though, well done Nyx, I'll be trying out the other shades for sure!
I've been stalking the M&S beauty counter waiting for the Rosie for Autograph to be finally available. Recently I've been all about bright eyes and rosy hues, no wonder I find the collection to right up my street. The Starstruck Highlighter comes in a chubby stick form. It's rather cool toned yet not too pink, it looks very flattering on pale complexions. It offers a nice sheen thanks to the chunky glitter free formula and creamy texture.
Every year I rebel against the obvious lip trends for spring. Fresh pinks are probably the least flattering shade for my skin tone. I feel like the lip range is pretty strong drugstore wise, however the colour selection tends to be a wee bit too obvious for my liking. These Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipsticks are one of my favourite discoveries AND the shades are their strongest assets. I fell in love with Wine Not? the second I swatched it. It's a warm berry shade and it works extremely well with my complexion. The satin finish is also my favourite. Rougenie is a matte bright red. The texture is creamy , they apply and wear beautifully and last a reasonable amount of time. I cannot wait to try the other reds, the nudes and pinks range both look rather tempting too.
Have you tried these?
