Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury

I have never owned the infamous lip liner before but from what I have gathered it is meant to be the ultimate nude to go to. Now the lipstick in the identical shade has jut launched and I have researched enough to persuade myself that I needed it in my handbag (I mainly blame Laura). In fact, I don't think I've ever wanted a lipstick this badly.

WHAT IS IT?

This neutral-toned bullet is a part of the Matte Revolution range and and it comes in a sleek and sturdy rose gold packaging. Despite the texture being matte it doesn't feel drying not does it look flat. Quite the opposite in fact, the application remains reasonably creamy and the lipstick itself feels softening and comfortable on the lips.

THE GOOD

First of all, the shade is spot on. When it comes to neutrals I always find it difficult to find one I will like- most of the time they seem to appear too beige, too pink, too dark and never seem to work well with my complexion. Pillow Talk however is just right- a perfect balance between rose and beige, It's possibly the most flattering nude shade I have ever owned.

THE BAD

I don't think it lasts as long as I would like it to. Aside from that I'm honestly struggling to find any negative aspects, which brings me to the next point.

IS IT WORTH IT?

100% yes and I can easily already see myself repurchasing. It's a joy to use and it makes me feel extra special when I reapply it throughout the day. We've become inseparable from day one.

Have you tried it? What did you think?
