New from Revlon: Sunlit Dream Highlighting Palette
As I am coming close to running out of my Charlotte Tilbury's highlighter I thought it was time to hit the drugstore and see what their options are. And there's quite a lot. I have been including highlighters in my daily makeup routine for over ten years now. I cannot be without it, it adds depth to the look, it brightens up the face and makes everything come together.
Revlon's offering comes in a sleek case of four pots. The texture of these is quite powdery but finely milled and not chalky which is good. The added duo chrome pearl gives a rather powerful effect so if you're into a subtle glow this might not be for you. [unless you use it wisely]. If however you fancy a bit of an oomph these might satisfy you. The lightest shade is way too pale for me and I use it in my inner eye corners mostly. The golden one is more flattering and so is the cool tone one . I use these on the highest points of my face. I haven't found the purpose for the last shade as it doesn't seem to be working well with my skin tone now that my tan is gone.
Overall, I'm quite impressed with the quality of it. It's a great palette to try if you're on a budget but want something that works well. It is also available in a Galaxy Dream version
