I like to think I go more smart than casual. Both in and after work. Even on dress down days I never show up in jeans and a Tee. I wear T-shirts in bed and I own Zara high waisted jeans just for the sake of having a pair. You know, just in case. I find jeans too restrictive.

Back to workwear though, I wear a chunky heal most of the time. My recent purchase is from Zara Sale (in the picture above). These Flat Lace-up Shoes are not too flat and not too high, both sleek and smart enough to look good with a skirt or any type of trousers. One might even say - a Bo's default shoe. I'd literally wear this everywhere with anything.
Top wise I live in fitted jumpers, in all seasons (well. it's windy up here). A while back I wrote an ode to these jumpers explaining in detail why slouchy ain't for me no more. This chunky waffle knit in the photo below is from New Look's last year's collection but you can always find similar ones. Topshop does decent knitwear as well, and H&M too.

Bottom wise A line skirts are my thang. I wear them plain, patterned and coloured. I tend to pick them high waisted and rather short to elongate my midget legs. I find the shape the most flattering and most of all comfortable (sorry skinnies). They can be worn with basically anything you can think of and easily dressed up or down. Much versatility. A line skirts are definitely one of my favourite pieces to wear all year round. Finding the right fit and cut can and always is a struggle in my case though. I'm not the shortest person but my legs are definitely not the default length, they're not the skinniest either therefore the petite section is more of a hassle than help. It always takes awhile before I can go home happy.
To top up the look I throw in some simple studs and my trusty watch.
Currently I've been on the hunt for a jazzy black jumper- I've been loving a bit of an embellishment recently and black opaque tights (no shine). And perhaps a pinafore, I've been deliberating over one for months now.
